Sherlock X Reader chapter one - - - - - - The Girl

Iri? are you awake?" you say cautiously approaching Irenes bed, her black hair spread elegantly across the pillow. "Iri?" you called again walking a bit closer, she remains quiet and still. "IRI!" you say running to her bed at top speed, you start shaking her fear gripping your heart. "IRI IRENE!" you yell desperately. Suddenly her eyes fly open "BOO!" she yells and starts giggling uncontrollably. "IRI!, THAT WASN'T FUNNY!!!" you yell and punch her in the arm, but laughter IS contagious so soon enough your laughing too. "I Will get you for that BIG SISTER." she laughs and with a grin replies "I cant wait LITTLE SIS" and you both run downstairs for breakfast.

20 years later ---------------------------------------------------

"Irene im BORED" you say flopping over the armchair dramatically, she looks at you and sighs "(y/n) I don't have time for your boredom right now" you huff and pull your legs to your chest "your no fun anymore Iri" you pout again dramatically. She fixes you with a stare a hint of amusement on her face, "(y/n) you need to stay in your room until I come get you" you take a breath and let out a long sigh dragging your feet like a child.

you walk up the stairs to your room/suite, it was more of a house within a house because your sister had some...interesting pastimes. You wander over to your mini studio and pull out a beautiful clay vase that you were in the process of painting, You do this for a few minutes and then decide to do a bit of...uh...recon. You tiptoe down the bannister like a 5 year old and crouch behind a large potted plant, your usual hiding spot and wait. then you see something interesting, a blonde man fiddling with a newspaper. You quietly observe him...ex army...doctor? you continue to watch him, single...hmm stressed? you snap out of your thoughts when he sets the goddamn paper on fire.

You run up the stairs but not before he spots you, though thankfully he doesn't pay you much attention. after retreating for a few minutes you cautiously venture down the stairs, and see a man in a trench coat with black curly locks. Your chest tightens but you shake off the feeling its foreign and its annoying really. You go to your room and flop on your bed and turn on (favorite band/artist) at full volume and try to block the man with the cheekbones out of your head, the way Iri looked at him...she wanted that man and she was going to have him...unless of course the blonde was his 'partner'. But if not she was going to have him after all She was 'The Woman' and you were simply 'the girl'.

Irene came in to find you staring at your ceiling, she had to admit your bedroom was beautiful. You had painted the ceiling like a sunrise and the walls like a tree throughout all 4 seasons. She sat down on your bed, she was only wearing a robe 'oh Iri what have you gotten into now?' you think annoyed. You roll onto your stomach annoyed, 'Irene Adler you look at me NOW, tell me you aren't doing THIS again! I quite enjoy London!" she looks at you and smirks. "(y/n) Adler you look at ME now and tell me, did you expect me NOT to do this?" You huff and smash your face into your pillow. "Irene for the love of-" she cuts you off by walking out of the room
Irenes POV--------
I got off the bed and walked out, good she hadn't seen Sherlock OR heard gun shots because YES im doing it again,but this time I have an opponent.

Reader POV---------------
'GOD! I cant leave this house because of her and now I cant even finish a sentence' you think angry as hell. "(y/n) there are too many people who want to hurt you to get to me its too dangerous!" you say mimicking Irene.

Oh you were mad, but you knew she coudnt win this time. Sherlock Holmes was too good, she never could win against you. And Holmes was better, But this time...just this once you would be observing. Sherlock Holmes was strange and required further research,he was too much like you. Too observant and this was new. So (y/n) Adler is coming to play.
